64/365

Today wasn't that exciting on account of my mom being lazy and my dad had to fly. I mean, I didn't even get to go for a run outside because my mom said she refuses to run outside when the windchill is below 20 degrees...wimp! So she cheated on me and went and ran at the gym...

Since my day wasn't that exciting I thought I would tell you a little story of how I came to be my mom's best buddy.

A long time ago (almost 6 years) some not so nice humans dropped me and 7 of my brothers and sisters off on the side of the road and left us.  Luckily, some nice humans found us and took us in (at only 6 weeks old) and nursed us back to health and put us up for adoption.  About two weeks later when we were good and healthy the nice humans took me and my brothers and sisters to PetsMart and hoped that people would adopt us.  We started out as 8 and when we were down to 3 I was started to feel really sad, everyone that I had ever known was leaving left and right! I started wimpering and that is when my mom spotted me.  She felt so bad that this adorable 8 week old puppy was having a rough time she picked me up... I stopped whining and licked (kissed) her nose. I was perfectly content sitting in her arms and she knew it was love at first lick!  My mom didn't put me down until we got in the car and at that point I fell fast asleep because I knew I had found my new family and my forever home.

On the car ride home
All rested up and ready to destroy everything play
My first "regal" pose
All grown up!
Me and my mom...bestest friends
