According to my humans, Monday is just as good as any day to stop by one of your favorite bars on your way home from work...

Plus, I wasn't allowed to go to the rims today since we were having strong winds (gusting up to 60 mph!) and my mom thought I might get blown off. What does she know, I'm adventure dog!

Awesome day on the trails again!

My dad and I went really far today....I was pooped at the end!

And then my dad found a tick on his pants so I had to get a full look-over to make sure I didn't get any....luckily I didn't...whew!

I am loving my dads work schedule right now! He goes in at 6am, done by noon which means we have six hours of guy time before my mom gets off work.

Today we went down to the trails around the Yellowstone River. Apparently a fox crossed our path and I was too busy sniffing a tree to see it, but I think my dad is pulling my tail.

I got to do a little, okay a lot of swimming today too. You see where I'm standing here...

well who would have thought that it completely drops off past this point and the current picks up. It took me awhile to remember to swim directly toward the shore, not against the current. Oh well, live and learn right!?

If you haven't figured it out already, my humans are a big fan of Montana. I guess I have to agree, so many things to do outside, places to run and chase rabbits. It didn't get names like the "treasure state" and the "last best place" for nothing.

So when my dad found this copper mug, made from copper mined in Butte, MT, he just had to have it. He tried to explain to my mom how awesome copper is, how it retains a certain temperature of liquids better than glass, blah blah blah....

We just think he's crazy...but we love him :-)

My dad had the day off so we ran some errands until the snow stopped...which was supposed to include me going into my favorite store. However, my dad forgot my leash so I had to stay in the car.

I might have had a little attitude about it. Why is it that I have to be leashed but all these kids can run wild. I've never hurt a human (or anything for that matter, not even a fly, seriously, I caught one time and spit it out)...but I've have many kids pull my hair, jump on me, etc....and I have to have the leash? Geeesh!

But then the snow stopped so my dad and I ran the trails...

And then he got me a peanut butter bone. He's so awesome!

My mom seems to think I ignore her when my dad is around....I don't know what she's talking about.

And if you want to know what we did today, nothing. Why? Because its snowing...again! Another 2-4 inches, geez Montana!

As you probably already know (due to my moms complaining) its been snowing here all week. Well today we finally broke 40 degrees so Remi and I thought that was warm enough for a swim...

Today is my Aunt Ashley's Birthday, and this morning my mom told me how old she was today and I was like wwwooowwwww!

That's like 175 in dog years! But then my mom reminded me that human years and dog years are not the same and being a quarter of a century old is not that old. (Not like my dad, who turns 30 this year, and doesn't want to talk about it).

Anyway, Happy Birthday Aunt Ashley, we miss you and hope to get to see you soon!

My dad and I went and hung out at Remi's house while we waited for my mom to get off work. Remi's dad is really into hunting, and since he has this thing called a 'predator call" he thought it would be fun to play with it today.

I still cannot figure out how they got a coyote, a wolf and a raccoon in there! Crazy!

And as usual, Remi wore me out, I got in the car and crashed....on my moms gym bag...

The humans were boring today. It snowed most of the day so we hung out inside and then they went to their favorite place, the Montana Brewing Company.

My mom and I got to pick up my dad tonight...finally! And in case you were wondering, this is his new plane, a Beechcraft 99...pretty cool!

My dad stopped by tonight and it was awesome! He gives the best ear scratches!

Only two more days before he's back for good, no more of this Wolf Point flying, whatever that means.  I've heard wolves are scary...

Day 100!!! Wohooo!

So my dad is here this week...

Ok not really.... but pretty much. He's having to fly out of Wolf Point, MT this week and if you've never been, you're not missing much. His company has to do a run from there and since no one wants to live up there, they rotate weeks up there. This was his week, and luckily, his last too!

We enjoyed a short hike on the rims today before the rain and snow started moving in. We are supposed to get up to 3 inches of snow...and it's April! Oh well, hopefully this keeps the bears sleeping a little longer...
