33/365

My tail is still wagging thinking about how much fun I had today (besides the "incident", I try not to think about that...)
We went down to a state park that the Yellowstone river runs through. We walked on a trail and I was having a blast running around without a leash, and then we came upon a frozen pond. There was a little girl there feeding the ducks (yeah, ducks on a frozen pond, I was confused too). Well I decided it would be fun to run up and scare all the ducks and then take the bread the little girl was throwing. Needless to say I got the leash put back on. So we continued walking down to where the river was and I got my leash taken off again so I was having a blast! The river is mostly frozen but the water is running a little in areas. I'm running around jumping on and off the snow banks in the water and then the "incident" happened. I was trying to go from the water up on a really tall snow bank so I ran really hard but my foot slipped and I slammed right into the snow. I was stuck there for a good 10 seconds because my humans were laughing hysterically at me. I finally slide down and caught my footing and took off again. I've been hearing about it all night how funny the incident was, oh well, I had a blast because I got to be adventure dog!

The bread I stole that my humans made me spit out

Running down the trail

The only part of the river that is flowing, see the frozen part behind me and how tall the snow banks are!

This is where the incident happened, yes that is my body print in the snow.

Here my humans were trying to re-create the incident, didn't fool me though!

Me having a good time!
